Character Medicine
with Danielle Barrett and Sara Fay George
Character Medicine explores the Psychophysical Relationship between actor and character within physical and energetic approaches such as Imagery, Spiritual Practices, and Dream Work. Working with monologues of their choosing, participants will discover new methods for creating characters and explore how the subconscious image informs psychophysical embodiment. We will focus on revitalizing the actor’s relationship to play and imagination, as well as strengthening trust in their intuition and process. By cultivating a better understanding of the character, participants will deepen their understanding of themselves as humans and artists.

Divine Rage Workshop
WHAT IF YOU WENT THERE?
Anger is a universal human emotion. Although we all experience anger, it is often considered socially unacceptable. Many of us receive confusing messaging around rage as children. When we don’t have healthy outlets for anger and the emotion is habitually repressed, it can explode in damaging and destructive ways or implode into depression, despondency, and hopelessness. At the end of the day, anger is energy. It can motivate us to express our needs and boundaries. It can be creative, and juicy and help us tap into our primal life force!
